SUMMARY:Internationale Studenten Conferentie | Courage
DESCRIPTION:The International Students Conference 2019 is going to be the third ISC organized by the Youth Section and WaldorfSV. It’s a biannual event traditionally held at Goetheanum.\nThe topic for #ISC19 is Courage. During day five-day conference we will listen to four keynote talks by international speakers. \nAbout the the topic: \nCOURAGE \nIs it courage that guides you or is it fear that forms your actions? At this year’s conference we would like to come together to develop an understanding about when courage might be the solution for personal and societal issues. How can we manage to let courage lead us throughout our lives? And what is it that makes it so difficult? Have we come to a point at which we need courage as a new basis in order to solve old\, stagnant problems of personal and global kinds? How do courage and fear influence our ideals and our political views? How and why do fears arise? How can we work on breaking them down? \nMany of us have grown up without firm values which religion or authoritarian education would provide. Thus the question arises how we can find direction in our lives and what values we want to live with.  \nSo how can we manage not to look for direction in simple but often exclusive ideologies\, but to let our free will guide us and to find values which embrace reality in its wholeness\, complexity\, and diversity? \nLet us all together encourage ourselves  to create a change which enables us to live together in unconditional solidarity with values that are worth fighting for.  \nLet us raise courage to break down old paradigms and to stand for our convictions. \n \nDeel de vreugde:

DESCRIPTION:– 31 January to 3 February –\nFEBRUARY DAYS 2019 \n“Art & Spirit: the role of the arts today”\nGoetheanum\, Dornach\, Switzerland\n\n“We must become artists\, not by developing symbolism or allegory\, but by rising\, through spiritual knowledge\, more and more into the spiritual world.” \nRudolf Steiner\nThe arts and their mission\, GA 276 \n\nFrom January 31st to February 3rd the theme Art and Spirit will bring us together at the Goetheanum to discuss and explore questions concerning different practices of art and the role it fulfills today. \n\nWhere do we find the spiritual in art? \nHow do art\, science and spirituality relate to each other? \nWhere do we find the artists of today? \nWhere does the artistic impulse in the human being come from? \nWhat purpose does it serve?\n\nThese and many other questions will be at the centre of our lectures\, workshops\, conversations and other activities that will help us to think about the task of art in the path of knowledge\, and how the spiritual aspect of it can be a contributory factor to a real social transformation. \n\nFebruary Days is an annual conference organized by members of the Youth Section to explore questions about Rudolf Steiner’s impulse and its meaning in present times. \n\nRegistration for the conference will open in the next few weeks through the Goetheanum’s website. Soon you will receive details of the registration process\, including ticket costs\, full event programme and information on accommodation. DESCRIPTION:“Kunstenaars worden we niet door het ontwikkelen van symbolieken of allegorieën\, maar door het groeien tot in de spirituele wereld\, door spirituele kennis.”\n– Rudolf Steiner – \nKunst en antroposofie gaan hand in hand. Rudolf Steiner was zelf kunstenaar en hij zag de kunst als een middel tot spirituele ontwikkeling. Gedurende de komende Februari-dagen in het Goetheanum zal de Jeugdsectie met de volgende vragen aan het werk gaan: \n– Waar vinden we het geestelijke aspect in de kunsten?\n– Hoe verhouden de kunst\, wetenschap en spiritualiteit zich tot elkaar?\n– Waar vinden we de kunstenaars van onze tijd?\n– Waar komt de artistieke impuls van het menselijke wezen vandaan?\n– Welk doel dient de kunst? \nDeelnemers komen van over de hele wereld samen om elkaar te ontmoeten en te inspireren. Tijdens de conferentie zullen de deelnemers door middel van lezingen\, workshops en voorstellingen in gesprek gaan over de bovenstaande thema’s. \nMet een groep jongeren reizen we naar Dornach! DESCRIPTION:International youth summer conference\nBecoming Human – Questions for co-creating the future\n\nOur highest endeavor must be to develop free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives – Rudolf Steiner \n\nPeople around the world are currently being faced by many diverse challenges on the individual\, social and global spheres. These encourage us to become more creative\, form new friendships and develop towards freer and more loving human beings\, asking: how can we reach the potential that each of us carries within ourselves? \nIn an era of mass connectivity\, intercultural relationships and social conflicts influenced by social media and virtual reality\, how can we define the meaning of connection? How can we overcome our differences to shape a healthy future? What is our task as a generation? What does it mean to be(come) human? \nBecoming Human invites you to join a discussion and exploration of these questions through lectures\, workshops\, conversations\, artistic activities and performances. Together we hope to find new ways to work toward a commonly envisioned future! \n​The Summer Conference is organised by members of Youth Sections from all around the world.
